RE: recommended reading

I found "Introduction to DITA: A User Guide to the Darwin Information Typing
Architecture" by Linton and Bruski to be a great place to start. It is basic
and if you have already studied data chunking it will be a fast read.
However, I really appreciated the applied examples.

I'm not sure you can find it on Amazon. I found it on the Hackos Web site.
It also has a great list of further references.

I was looking for some books on XML and DITA so I
searched Amazon and come up with 

* Single Sourcing: Building Modular Documentation by
Kurt Ament  
* Managing Enterprise Content: A Unified Content
Strategy by Ann Rockley.

Although I've read online articles and some of the
threads on the list, I'm not really sure where to
start. Does anyone know of resources, either online or
in print, that I could use to get started? 

My goal is to know the concepts that underly XML and
DITA and the tools that now support them or will
support them in the future.
