Remember that this discussion used the example of the "_ " button that is an
unnamed button. The rule that you are citing refers to named buttons, so in
this case, the "Minimize" button does need the clarity of the word "button."
The discussion on page 221 discusses using the button label without the word
"button" but also provides that the word "button" is required for clarity
and MSG provides the "Maximize" button as an example. The "Maximize" button
is just a square with a heavy bar as the top line, so, like the "Minimize"
button, it does not have a label. Also, the original discussion did mention
that MSG stated that "button" should be lowercase. The author questioned if
other people agreed, not if he read the manual correctly.
