Well, the point was 'doing now what you predicted in gradeschool'
specifically where most of us are TWs now.

So your primary income is still not from novels? Do you have the skills and
aptitude for it?

I know that I'm better suited to techwriting. I like understanding things
and explaining them to others (but once I know a thing, I'm not so
interested in it anymore, so I'm not a good candidate for ongoing
tech-support and troubleshooting).

I can write dialog and set scenes, but I can't story-tell my way out of a
wet paper bag. I'd have to co-author with somebody who was stronger on
plotting.  (hint, hint)
