Subject: RE: Word links in Acrobat?
Thanks Jan. I have tried that, and have not been able to find an option that pertains to the links (just about everything else is in there, but I'm not seeing that). Am I missing it? Anyone? Anyone?
Thanks!
Brigitte Johnston

Hi Brigitte,
If memory serves me correctly, try this:
On the other users computers, have them select File-->Print. The Print window should open up. Have them then select Adobe PDF in the Printer Name drop-down menu, then click on the Properties button. From there they should be able to turn on the link conversions they need (bookmarks, cross document, internet, etc.).
HTH,

Hi everyone -
Does anyone know of a way to make links that are active in my Word
document also be active in my PDF - IF I do not have Acrobat available
as a macro within Word (if I don't have the icon in my Word toolbar)?
I do have the icon available in Word (and can select "Convert
cross-references and tables of contents to links"), but most other folks
in my company do not. They make a PDF by choosing File > Print > Adobe
PDF (resulting in no active links in the PDF). Any way to do this,
short of reinstalling Word and Acrobat on all of their computers so that
they too will have the extra options?
