Assuming they all have Adobe Acrobat licenses (not just access to
someone else's Adobe PDF printer instance), they just need to reinstall
Acrobat. It will find Word and set everything up properly. 

I don't think there's any shortcut or alternative to this -- during the
Acrobat install, certain DLLs and macros have to be installed to "hook"
into Word (also Excel, Visio, and maybe other Office apps). That means,
of course, that Word/Office has to be there when Acrobat is installed,
but there's no need to reinstall Word/Office. 

It's not a big deal. If they're just reistalling their existing version
of Acrobat, I don't think there's any need to uninstall, and the
reinstall should take just a couple or three minutes. Not worth spending
hours searching for an alternative. :-)
