Okay, maybe this should be a "chat" thread -- or "tools", even, given  
the clever use of an unusual medium. But since every editor and  
technical writer probably has a book inside them and may some day  
need to market it, I'll make a weak attempt to call this a useful tie- 
in for copyediting-l and techwr-l... should you ever decide to write  
a book, or lose track of your dry-erase board. <g>
