Authorit's been around long enough that I don't think we have to worry
about them disappearing without warning. As far as getting rid of new
vendors... sorry, why do we want that? I can see why Microsoft might
want it, but why would tech writer's want a restricted choice of
tools? And more to the point, why would professionals want Microsoft's
notoriously wonky software to be the only game in town? (Sorry to all
the Word fans out there....)

If you're a pro, you want a tool you can rely on. I can't see why
having the alternatives disappear is something anyone would want.
