Since you won't be able to run the build, you could offer to show up
at the QA manager's desk bright and early after every new build to ask
how each change affects the appearance and operation of the software.
That should only chew up about an hour of her time once a
week--certainly *much* more efficient than taking two minutes once to
reactivate your access....
