Hi Nancy,
I meant AutoNum Legal, not ListNum! I almost always use AutoNum for
chapter and appendix numbering, and the TOC always recognizes it (as do
the header-based X-refs).
I occasionally use SEQ instead of AutoNum, when someone needs unusual
chapter numbering.
