It depends. Back when I was editing/publishing a magazine, most of my
editing was done on paper simply because most of the submissions were on
paper.  In the corporate world, most of my editing is done onscreen;
although, I do occasionally print out the document (even if it's a large
service manual) as a reference for progress meetings. Most of my corporate
work today is in creating hardware/software documentation. When I was
writing strictly software docs, all my editing was online.

When I create web sites, all of my editing is online.
