True. I work in a federally-regulated industry writing policies and
procedures, and it is not the first time I've done that. I do a little
software documentation, but not much.

Mostly I create and maintain policy and procedure docs in a knowledgebase.
Our documentation is (1) required by the government under SOX, and (2) does
have an effect on the bottom line, because if the rules are not followed,
there are severe financial penalities for the company, and the person who
didn't follow the rules.

They still don't know how good they've got it with me, though :-)
