question on LiveDocs

Hello, all.

Has anyone of you created LiveDocs so far? 
similar to those created by macromedia's LiveDocs format?
Is this a format you can generate with a help-authoring tool? 
I'm currently using RoboHelp HTML 6 to generate webhelp and may need to switch to a LiveDocs format.
How can that be done?
I'm a bit lost here, I would be grateful for any ideas as to how LiveDocs can be generated.
