Actually, I see it differently: If I'm going to use the word "toggle"
as an adjective, I want to AVOID also using it as a verb.
"One word, one meaning" might make for less-lively writing, but it also
makes for clearer (and more-easily-localized, not to mention less
funny-sounding) writing... Like "set the switch" rather than "switch the
switch", "attach the two hooks" rather than "hook the hook to the hook",
"one iteration of the loop" rather than "one loop of the loop", etc.
