I don't see what your unemployment status has to do with
the "ethics" of whether to leave or not. Unemployment
status is only about your ability to collect money (and then
only if you're leaving and not going to another job). It has
no relation to issues of meeting commitments or leaving a
client in the breach at a critical time.
