If I remember correctly the concept was described by Steve Hudson TO Maggie
and he then named it after her in subsequent messages to either the Word-PC
list or one of the Microsoft Word newsgroups.

I don't see Maggie responding-- maybe she's tired of
repeating herself-- but Maggie never claimed to have
discovered the particular fix, and she isn't the one
who named it. She did make a practice of recommending
it, and when others started calling it a Maggie, she
went along.
