I just did a mini HAT/single-source "shoot-out" with some interesting 
results that I'll be writing up as a brief article shortly. The upshot of it 
is that, having done a quick evaluation of RoboHelp, AuthorIT, Flare, 
Doc-to-Help and HelpStudio, I'm really impressed with Doc-to-Help. Results 
with the rest of 'em were disappointing. If time permits, I'm also going to 
give Help & Manual a try next week.
