Background investigations this extensive for unclassified projects is a
waste of government money and should be investigated as such by the GAO and
Congress. I find it interesting that some of the plaintiffs have spent
nearly thier whole careers in NASA or JPL. What a clever way of getting rid
of older workers without facing age discrimination litigation.
