RE: Technical author leading resistance to background checks

It's all part of the Great Conspiracy to keep older women out of the
best-paid tech writing jobs -- most of us didn't have the option of
military service way back when.

Oh, wait.  These jobs are at NASA.  Doubtful they'll be on the upper pay
level.  Never mind.

Background checks have never been an issue for me since I've worked in
call centers rather than take a military-related contract.  But that's a
personal choice for each individual and I am not going to poke a stick
at anybody who does work in that area.
