Yesterday, I asked whether Frame offered any revision tracking tools
and if not, what the alternatives might be. In summary:

- Older versions of Frame offer change bars (lines in the margin that
show changed lines), but not formal revision tracking.

- Conditional text or the use of character styles can be used to
kludge up your own version of tracking.

- If your reviewers don't have Frame, the text can be sent for review
by converting it into Word format using MIF2Go, or via PDF. Details
weren't provided on how easily you can then reimport the Word file or
PDF into Frame, so that may be a problematic approach for heavy editing.

- Frame 8 has (finally!) added true revision tracking (http://
www.adobe.com/products/framemaker/features.html).

Thanks to Yves Barbion, Fred Ridder, and Caroline Tabach. (If I
didn't reply personally to your message, I didn't see it. Sorry!
Please send it again.) Additional comments welcomed!
