1. I'm pretty sure that the Dr. Redish referenced in the article as a usability expert was a star presenter at several STC conferences I attended a few years ago. (Note that she founded "The Document Design Center.")

2. Maybe we should jettison the "Technical Writer" / "Technical Communicator" titles and start calling ourselves "Explanation Professionals" ("Explainability Professionals" doesn't seem to scan, or mean what we would want it to mean.)
