The potential problem would be if you've already crossed
the line of treating your corp-to-corp in a manner that
fails the contractor/employee test. Anything you do after
an audit turns that up is just seen as an attempt to conceal
what is really an employer/employee relationship. This
is one reason why many companies have policies that
forbid engaging former employees as independent
contractors.
