Absolutely. Your documents are *printed* and each has to weigh
enough to be a hazard to airworthiness if it were taken up in
the aircraft. <grin>

My wife worked in quality in an aviation manufacturing business,
and she found out stuff that wasn't supposed to be known. She
doesn't work there anymore. She doesn't fly, either.

Even valid, proper, in-spec aviation info can be used to put
together some sort of "they should have known" lawsuit after
an incident. The companies correctly don't want it public any
more than they are required to.
