I'm going back-and-forth through this thread to find the purpose of the
thread or at least a primary topic.  It seems like the posters to this
thread all have a different topic, so they aren't all talking about apples;
they're not even talking about apples and oranges.  Heck!  I don't even
think these guys are even close to the same orchard basket.  

Posts are responses to posts with different subjects altogether.  There are
the subject of permalancers, educational background, management, Chomsky,
and work ethics.  Quite the potpourri discussion if you ask me.

Even the file protection thread seems like it's going argumentative with
extraneous topics starting to filter their way into the thread.  Maybe the
elections are starting to get to people and now everybody wants to argue.  I
love good arguments, but it's only fun when arguments stay to a main and
relevant topic.
