Hi Barbara,
The problem that Deborah describes is not a bug -- it's a check box that
needs to be deselected. Diane Evans offered to help Deborah with this
offline.
Word allows you to apply formatting (bold, italics, different font
sizes) directly to the text. This is fine for writing letters and so on.
But for technical writing, you really need to use styles and templates.
