If you forcibly redistribute things "equitably," a whole lot of people
will quit producing anything (because that's, like, work) and simply
depend on their "equitable" share of what others produce. The result
will be an "equitable" distribution of want and poverty -- like what
existed for most of the history of the world. 

A whole lot of people will also resent and resist having the product of
their efforts distributed against their will to others. You'll have to
threaten them, point guns at them, imprison them, maybe worse. The
result will be much more force and violence and much less freedom --
like what existed for most of the history of the world. 

I'll be charitable and assume you don't actually intend either of those
consequences. But please note that they're a far cry from the kindness,
respect, and voluntary cooperation in the workplace that this thread was
about.
