It's a trend I'm seeing more and more. "The return of
Micro-management" and "death-by-committee". The last two companies
I've contracted at have been overburdened by the syndromes. The tower
in which I currently toil is bad enough to extract me from the Doc
Writing department and place me under a manager who believes threats
are the best form of motivation.

I have no review process.
I have no style guides.
I have only 2-4 hours of XP meetings and a very tedious, slow-moving
"approval by 'track-changes' system" in which to get a document to the
good enough stage.

About to throw my hands up and become a monk.
Calligraphy by candlelight is better than this!

Suggestions?
