TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
That would be something I'd want to know, since the tax sounds like it
could affect the bottom line of somebody up the food chain from us.
My interest in this kind of news stems from the simple proposition that
enlightened self-interest is better than simply trusting legislators and
employers to take care of our interests, at least to the extent that
seeing trouble coming, before it arrives, is any use at all.
I'm not so sure I would need to know if a killer asteroid is coming, but
a tech tax, sure why not?
Thanks,
--Ned
