Firefox is already at beta 5 - you might want to check this one.

Furthermore Firefox seems to have one of the better rendering engines
as far as standards compliance is concerned.


You might want to check if there isn't a conditional for Firefox 2.xx,
which would prevent the code from being used and not display anything.
If that's the case, you can fool the code by going to
http://about:config and setting general.useragent.extra.firefox from
Firefox/3.0b5 back to Firefox/2.11 or sth like that (at your own
risk!)
