On Friday April 4, Tom Kohn asked for "useful forum on using conditional
text and generating front/back matter for a large book in FrameMaker 7.2 or
8.0."

I recommend courses by Shlomo Perets (www.microtype.com). The Single
Sourcing with FrameMaker seminar explains conditional text (as well as text
insets and other related topics) and generated files (TOCs, Indexes--also
known as front and back matter).

Best of luck,
Beverly
