Sorry I'm a little late to the game, but I get this in digest form and
sometimes things pile up.
My company is big on Lean 6 Sigma, but the certifications stop at Green
Belt or Black Belt. (For the record, I'm GB certified and BB trained,
working on certification.) These certifications are not in a particular
area such as tech writing, finance, et cetera... they are certifications
for facilitation.
Each company tends to put their own little twist on things, so I can
only speak for how things are at my company.
