The lowest quote I found was $300 per year from The Hartford because that
was the minimum premium. Make sure that you are being quoted as an author
and not a programmer or some other discipline if you are just writing.
Writing won't cause losses like programming, so the rates are lower. But my
knowledge of the subject of insurance is a little limited.
