Is this something you feel you need, or something a
client is insisting you have? The one time someone
mentioned this to me as a requirement, I told them
that if I covered E&O for the documents I did for them
rather than them covering it as part of a "work for hire"
contract, then I would also retain all copyrights for
the documents. By the end of the day they called
me back and said E&O would not be required for the
contract.
