As you may have gathered from the other responses, it's hard to offer a
meaningful assessment without much more context. What does "enter these
numbers" mean -- add more digits? Enter additional parameters? Something
else? What "figures" are affected, and how?

It's impossible to judge how well each sentence says something without
having any idea of what it's trying to say.

That said, I can't imagine a context where I'd approve of either
version. :-)
