If you're a lawyer or accountant running your own
practice, it's up to your discretion and judgement to
determine on what basis you will charge for your
services (my accountant charges me by itemizing
services, not by the hour, as did the lawyer who
prepared my will and the POA for my mother).  If
you're employed by a firm, you're in the same boat
as any other employee who was supposedly hired
as a "professional" and was then required to work
mandatory, scheduled OT.
