Re: History of the IT industry

Most of this "history" looks like a reach to me.
The phonograph and the radio when there are 
people working in computers and software 
posting to this very list who don't "recognize" 
themselves as part of the "IT industry?"  Why 
not just start off by claiming cave paintings, 
wet clay and the sharpened stick?
