I'm on digest, and I'm a bit behind, which is why I'm responding to
something that was posted several days ago. I'm referring to the
directive to make off-topic posts to the TECHWR-L chat list. As an
alternative, you could try another list, TechComm, which I and a number
of other members of TECHWR-L belong to. That's also a list for technical
communicators who want to discuss things other than technical
communication, and it can get really interesting over there. There's
also a wiki connected with that list, so you can create a profile for
yourself, upload photos, and what-have-you.
