Edwin,
The general public has no idea what blackbody radiation is, and would
likely fear it if they heard the term, yet everyone knows that light
bulbs give off light.
There's a time and a place and an audience for terminology, and BLS is
not a target medium nor has the target audience for industry-specific
rhetoric.
That the term is correct is not at issue, it's whether it's
appropriate, which it's not.
