Although it's never happened to me, I've heard of some folks who all of a
sudden discover the second computer doesn't like to play with the thumb
drive. I'd at least make certain it's from a reputable mfr., such as
SanDisk, to insure long-term data integrity. And then never just yank the
thumb drive out of its USB slot without using the proper ejection procedure
so that the operating knows of your intention. Failure to do can scramble
the folder structure.
