Assuming that the OP's question was in reference to the
same rendering tools I was talking about, I would say it
depends on whether the image of the product will be
enhanced by the appearance of being created and
documented by actual users. OTOH, many people who
use rendering SW are charter members of the "we don't
need no stinking instructions" club and will make a
beeline for the user support forum anytime they run
into problems, so my guess is only a small portion of
users will notice what the docs say anyway.

I think most would probably say they are if you caught
them at the end of a long multiple render session.
