Yes, ID CS4 accepts pm6 files, according to this page:
http://www.adobe.com/products/indesign/faq/?promoid=DRHXE

However, they pretty much discontinued PageMaker in 2004. You can get a PM
to Indesign upgrade for $199 from Adobe, probably less elsewhere.
