Modify the style and select Format > Numbering. (I'm going from memory
here, so I might have some of the option names wrong.) In the
numbering gallery, click Customize. Check the settings in this dialog
box...the indent might be set to the wrong value and I believe that
Word uses this value (and not the one from Format > Paragraph).
