Tammy: You might consider posting your query to the Word-PC list, where
Word 2007 guru Christine Kent holds court. Given that you originally
assigned specific styles to paragraphs, I'd bet a Snickers that you
don't have to go the paragraph-by-paragraph route (WADR to Pro
TechWriter).

Scott: File size has nothing to do with it. Professional Word users
create stable Word documents with hundreds of pages and multi-MB files.
You might want to check out
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/CorruptDoc.htm, where you can learn
the actual causes of Word file corruption: Master Documents, Nested
Tables, Versions, Fast Saves, Document Maps, etc. Among the solutions
for Word file corruption are the "Maggie" and the "Open and Repair"
functions. It turns out that Word file corruption is pretty rare -- but
it's the default diagnosis on TECHWR-L...
