Well... I have a desktop - PIV 3.06 GHz, but with 512 MB RAM and XP
Pro SP2. I don't do work on it, usually, it's my mother's email/Net
and games machine, and she only uses Ubuntu for both those.

I work on a laptop with an AMD Turion ML-30 1.6 GHz, 768 MB of RAM,
and currently have two flavors of Ubuntu on it - 7.10 and 8.10. And
VMware Player for the times I need a VM with XP Pro SP2 to run stuff
like FrameMaker... like right now.

Both of these would easily classify as "older" computers, I guess :)
but I'm sort of curious about why you asked...

Cheers,
Ed.
