Presentation books:
"Presentation Zen" by Garr Reynolds
"Slide:ology" by Nancy Duarte
"There's No Such Thing as Public Speaking" by Jeanette and Roy Henderson
The first two are primarily on designing effective slides; the third is
about making the presentation.

Business communication:
"Why Business People Speak Like Idiots: A Bullfighter's Guide" by Brian
Fugere, Chelsea Hardaway, and Jon Warshawsky
"The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures"
by Dan Roam

Page Design (not a category you mentioned, but important IMO):
"The Non-Designer's Design Book" by Robin Williams

Hello Everyone,

One of my students asked me for recommendations on "communications books for
a soon-to-be college grad."

I like the Redish "Letting Go of the Words" and the Davidson "Business
Writing: What Works, What Won't" for writing.

I also think he could use a presentation book on good PowerPoint, but don't
know what to recommend there. I always liked Kawasaki, but don't know if
he's published.

Finally, I think he could use something about speaking and giving
presentations.

What are your top picks for these categories? Did I miss any categories?
