Question: Why do you add a date to the name of the picture? In Windows
Explorer (and I would guess any SW), the date of the picture can be
displayed?
---------
I'm thinking there are two related reasons. First, if the date is part
of the file name, you don't have to depend on your system software to
keep track of and sort by the date. Second, if you modify a file, the
system could change the date to the date it was last modified, whereas
if the date is part of the filename, it will always be the date the file
is created.
