That's a pity since I suspect that precludes the warning in the manual
for either my washing machine or dish washer: "WARNING: Do not invert
this appliance. Damage may result if this warning is ignored." (or
words to that effect.) There wouldn't be much wrong with that except
that the manual was in the box and the way that many people (including
me) unpack large appliances is to up-end the box, open the bottom of
the box, put it down so the appliance is on the floor, then lift the
box off the appliance!
