I'd say that's gentle. I could take a stab at harsh. ;)
Folks, criticism is a GOOD thing. Take it, no matter how it's
delivered, and put it to good use. If you can't get beyond being
offended, perhaps you're not cut out for the gig. Everyone, every
profession, gets criticized; from actors and athletes to technical
writers to what have you. The harsher the criticism, and the more
public its placement, then the greater the incentive to improve.
