Hi all

We are starting a new project to archive and manage the large collection
of company photos that have been collected over the last 40-odd years.

The aim is that:

- Staff can easily find and download images according to a number of
searchable criteria.

- Images are stored on and accessed via the company intranet.

- We can easily add and tag new images.

Ideally, we would be able to expand the system to manage other media and
documents (we do not currently have a document management system).

My part in this project is to:

1. Help find a cost-effective tool.

2. Establish the classification/taxonomy system, and narrow down the
search terms.

Any advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

David Tran
