My resume has a specific job title under my name
in the header of each page. This title describes me,
and does not necessarily match any of the job titles
listed in the work experience section, which are
what the company listed will report back to someone
asking what my job title was.

Company job titles serve no purpose outside of the
company, except to be the butt of jokes about how
one's workplace resembles a Dilbert cartoon.
