Ev, you've done some rather severe trimming there, and I just want to
clarify that when I wrote "What it would win you in my shop is a one-way
ticket to Palookaville" I was referring to Geoff Hart's comment to the
effect that saying this task is beneath you won't win you any friends.
You've trimmed that comment.

I was agreeing with Geoff. What I meant was  -- no, saying that a task is
not worthy of your gifts, or acting like it, it WON'T win you any friends;
to the contrary, it will diminish your prospects for surviving an economic
downturn.  (In Australia , according to the Prime Minister, it isn't so much
a downturn as it is a "sh*t-storm".)
